Today we are excited to welcome EAN’s new Network Manager: Carolyn Wesley!

Most recently, Carolyn served as Deputy Director of Building Bright Futures, which, like EAN, operates as a collective impact backbone organization. Carolyn supported Building Bright Futures in monitoring VT’s early care, health, and education systems, advising the Administration and Legislature on early childhood policy, and convening state and regional stakeholders to work toward a more coordinated, collaborative, and integrated early childhood system. Previously, she served as Director of Constituent Services for Governor Peter Shumlin. Carolyn is a graduate of St. Olaf College and holds a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Marlboro College.

Carolyn lives in Montpelier with her husband and daughter, where, for a variety of economic, environmental, and quality of life reasons, she has made a significant energy transformation in her own household. This includes heating with a cold climate heat pump and efficient wood stove, and sharing a plug-in electric hybrid car with her husband, John. You can also occasionally see her performing with Lost Nation Theater!

As Network Manager, Carolyn will work with Network members to help manage:

We are very lucky to have Carolyn joining the EAN staff team to help advance our Network to the next level as we work together to achieve our shared mission.

Please feel free to send Carolyn a welcome note (her first day is today!) atcwesley@eanvt.org. You can also reach her at 802-734-0046. For now, we’re going to get to work reviewing all the great pitch submissions that have come in!
