Community Energy Dashboard Outreach Update – Feb 2016
- Targeted Town Support: Over 30 Energy Committees (ECs) across Vermont are receiving targeted support using the Dashboard to achieve their local energy goals. Another 15 are on the waiting list. Surveys of participants reflect very high satisfaction.
- RPCs and Dashboard: The Dashboard was presented to all RPC teams preparing regional energy plans as per Act 174 (Feb 8). The Dashboard atlas, data and outreach tools complement these plans at the town level. Of particular note is the new Atlas capacity to explore potential energy generation sites with easy-to-use Act 174 constraint layers.
- New Dashboard Upgrades: Add and track energy actions! Towns, businesses and individuals can now easily add multiple actions at once across all energy sectors (electricity, heat, transportation). The Dashboard also provides easy-to-use energy action checklists customized to the user, downloadable.
